Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600 employees ....

and has the following employee statistics .

29 have been accused of spouse abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

9 have been accused of writing bad cheque's

17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 have done time for assault

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year

Which organisation is this ?

It's the 635 members of the House of Commons, the same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

What a bunch of bastards we have running our country - it says it all. And just to top all that they probably have the best 'corporate' pension scheme in the country!!

Friday the 13th .. The Remake .. lol

So we went to see Friday The 13th ..........

I remember watching the original through the cracks in my fingers as my hands made some excuse or another to be covering my face …

It was a freezing cold night and I was so happy when they let us take our seats early. The girls played ‘mum’ and bought all the nosh … gotta luv the ‘Jason burger’ .. dripping in ketch-up… ewww!

So on with the film .. This version was ‘ok’ .. no fireworks as I’ve already told a friend of mine. What is important to remember is that this was not my type of film and some of you, especially the youngsters may find it wonderful.

What I did enjoy was the hype that goes with it all. I had the pleasure of being at the Odeon Leicester Square, very prestigious, but it does come at a price. Have you tried to park in the busiest city in Europe? .. good luck, the surrounding streets were manic .. lol … We were fortunate enough to be allowed to park a two minute walk away, this was thanks to two of our entourage being London cabbies and using said vehicle on the night then using the cab rank across the Square.

They, ‘people’, were actually dressing up as ‘Jason’, I must admit, that mask does give me the shivers. These masks were on sale after the show retailing at £20($40) for the rubber version and £12($24) for plastic I’ll take 2 one for weekends .. lol, ridiculous!! …

It really was cold, at least that’s what I kept telling my friends when they noticed me shivering!!

After the film we all went for a quick bite, nothing fancy as we’re all out again tonight.

Friday the 13th

So today is Friday the 13th....

One of the guys decided it would be a great to book us all tickets to see the famous remake of the film ''Friday the 13th'' .. at a cinema in town, it's a special showing and these tickets are gold dust. It's not that I mind someone spending my money for me (as he will be repaid by all seven of us), and I'm not ungrateful, it's that ,... well .... I guess I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to the bump and scare type films. Had it have not been a surprise I would have wriggled out of it ...

I tend to watch my horror films on DVD where I am in total control of the 'sound' etc ... lol

Did I mention that I only watch these films in the middle of the day with the sun up high in the heavens .. lol

I'm a total wuss!!!

I took the acolyte test again ... I failed with such a force it's quite embarrassing.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong (well I do actually, lol). I still manage to help many on this site in one way or another so I'm not too devastated by the result, and I will continue to help VR's members.

The test is not seemingly hard but it's not easy either. I guess if it were too easy everyone would be passing. My hat goes off to all the acolytes that past, very well done.

I'm sure Images drives a ........!!!

Moving on.....
